The company

xMap builds real-estate intelligence — location data and analytics used by property and retail teams across Japan and globally. To grow in the Japanese market, they needed someone in Enterprise Partnerships: a person who could open doors at large Japanese companies and carry deals across the finish line.

That's one of the hardest profiles to source in Japan. It needs business-level Japanese, enterprise sales instincts, and comfort in a fast-moving startup — a combination agencies typically take weeks to shortlist.

Why it worked
